Biography

Bernard Hafner is currently a registered architect in Graz, Austria designing and constructing residental, commercial, educational, and religious projects. He was awarded the Prize of the Austrian Institute of Architects for the Monton University Laboratory Hall at Leoben and received First Prize in a public competition for the Andritzer Reichsstrasse Residential and Commercial Complex

Bernard Hafner has held graduate program academic positions such as Distinguished Lecturer and Associate Professor at the School of Architecture and Environmental Design at the University of Texas, Arlington; Visiting Critic at the College of Fine Arts at Cornell University; and Assistant Professor of Urban Design at the School of Architecture and Urban Planning, University of California at Los Angeles

Bernard Hafner received his Master of Architecture in Urban Design degree from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design and his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Graz Institute of Technology. He has participated in International Design symposiums and conferences across the globe and has published widely in architectural journals.
