Albert Pfeiffer

A native New Yorker, Mr. Pfeiffer received his degree in architecture from Pratt Institute. Since joining Knoll in 1982, he has headed the Real Estate and Construction Management Division of Knoll Showrooms. In the United Kingdom, he served as manager of many of Knoll's European Trade Shows. He is currently vice-president of design management and curator of the Knoll Museum of East Greenville, Pennsylvania.

In addition to teaching Construction Techniques at Pratt Institute and Design Communication at Parsons School of Design, he has also been a guest design critic at numerous schools of architecture and interior design.

Mr. Pfeiffer lectures frequently at colleges, universities, and professional organizations on topics such as The Knoll Spirit, Twentieth Century Furniture by Architects, Harry Bertoia, Arne Jacobsen, and Mies van der Rohe's Villa Tugendhat. He has been curator for several exhibitions including The Knoll Retrospective at the High Museum in Atlanta and two traveling exhibitions: Bertoia: A Celebrationand Arne Jacobsen, Architect.
