The dean and the faculty established the Sanford R. Greenfield collection in the 1996-97 academic year to honor Professor Greenfield’s 70th birthday and his fifteen years of outstanding service to the New Jersey Institute of Technology. The School of Architecture donated $2,000 to establish the collection.

Sanford R. Greenfield, FAIA, joined the School of Architecture in 1981, serving as its dean until 1991. He continues to serve as a full professor.
